Supported Devices

The potential to integrate devices into the patient's tool kit is great and has never been more possible than at present. However, it takes more than just adding support for a new glucose meter, blood pressure cuff or even a new model of smart phone. Support entails a thorough investigation of the useability of the device to ensure that everything works to the joy of the person using it.

Supported devices currently include:

Universal Mobile Health Platform (UMHP)

DHCPlatform

The UMHP has been developed to support ease of use and out of the box operation in support of our Diabetes HouseCall program covering advanced self-care and comprehensive interactive video endocrinologist visits with their patients. Connectivity options include 3 USB2.0 ports for local device connectivity, built-in WiFi and an optional high-speed 3G wireless card that solves the problem for patients and facilities where on premise connectivity including regular home telephones or broadband DSL/Cable are not readily available.

The UMHP is a powerful Linux based platform including a built-in mobile webcam for remote visits, a suite of applications for medical device connections, a productivity suite for word processing, spreadsheets, etc..., email, Internet, and remote data connectivity including transmission, analysis and report review. Finally, the UMHP includes a rich media experience for delivering diabetes related education.

The UMHP is available for purchase or as a loaner including diabetes savvy technical support. Contact the team at mygluco.com for inventory status, 3G coverage verification and pricing. OneTouch UltraMini sold separately.
