Connectivity options include 3 USB2.0 ports for local device connectivity, built-in WiFi and an optional high-speed 3G wireless card that solves the problem for patients and facilities where on premise connectivity including regular home telephones or broadband DSL/Cable are not readily available.
The UMHP is a powerful Linux based platform including a built-in mobile webcam for remote visits, a suite of applications for medical device connections, a productivity suite for word processing, spreadsheets, etc..., email, Internet, and remote data connectivity including transmission, analysis and report review. Finally, the UMHP includes a rich media experience for delivering diabetes related education.
