Motivational Tools

The mygluco programs are designed around behavior modification. Much like a new pair of running shoes helps to kick start many a New Year's Resolution, various tools sent to program participants in the mail arrive at our participant's door to kick start a new behavior. With years of experience, we have found that often times it isn't necessarily the cost or sophistication of the gadget but the quality and relevance to the situation.

For example, people who take insulin are always at risk of severe hypoglycemia, especially at night. That's where our NightCheck LED finger lights come in as a subtle reminder and also as a helpful tool for checking at night.

Typically, our participants are introduced to these tools without asking - they just show up as part of a Step-Up or QuickTip. However, we also realize that these tools are useful and sometimes hard to find elsewhere. These products are now available to anyone through the mygluco.com store. If you are interested in bulk purchases for your own program or in a product that we don't already have shown here please contact us and we'll see if we can accomodate your request.

Taking Care of Business

When it comes to diabetes, certain things have got to be available and a reliable source of insulin is key. Making sure we can easily grab a vial of insulin without worrying about dropping and breakage is a daily concern. That's why we use the patented (U.S. Patent No. 7,334,698) Insulin-Koozie to make it easier to grip vials without the worry of losing our grip on those slippery glass vials.

Never worry again about a vial of insulin (or Byetta or Symlin, etc...) slipping out of your hand again.  Wrap it up in an Insulin-Koozie!

Long Insulin-Koozies for your long vials:

Checking Blood Glucose At Night Saves Lives

Our community uses NightCheck LED finger lights to make it easier and more comfortable when checking blood sugar at night.  Just 5 minutes can save a life and prevent a severe low. It can also detect a severe high and allow you to take preventive action sooner and avoid hours on trips to the emergency room.
