Diabetes HouseCall is strictly a fee-for-service program at this time. HouseCall users are strongly encouraged to invoice their insurance carriers to set a precedent for reimbursement of this service in the future. Some HouseCall families have successfully obtained funding for their start-up equipment from their flexible medical spending account. All families are encouraged to speak directly with their insurance company's benefits coordinator for more information. View the supported devices certified for patient use in the HouseCall program. Not all devices are included in the starter package and may be purchased or rented separately (ie - Universal Mobile Health Platform /UMHP/ device and optional 3G service).
